Newcastle University has reaffirmed its position as one of the UK’s top 20 research institutions, with the publication of the UK’s official survey of research quality, the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008.
The RAE consistently endorsed the research environment and skills development that the University provides for its postgraduate students and early career researchers. This reflects the strong focus that has been placed over recent years on enhancing the training of our postgraduate students.
