GM genes found in human gut

Article says that research at Newcastle University (lead researcher Professor Harry Gilbert, Dept. Biological & Nutritional Sciences) has demonstrated for the first time that genetically modified DNA material from crops is finding its way into human gut bacteria. But the Food Standards Agency, which comissioned the research, says it concluded that the likelihood of functioning DNA ending up in the bacteria is extremely low.
