Linda joins the Art Tour
Talented artist, Linda Scott-Robinson, has been invited to exhibit her paintings of the Northumberland landscape during the annual Network Artists’ Christmas Art Tour.
Linda, who is an Audio Visual Design Technician in the University Sports Centre, has been painting the landscape she loves for many years, inspired by the epic scenery around her North Northumberland home. In her studio, she brings her own perceptions of the landscape to life, colouring Northumberland with her vibrant palette.
The Art Tour is an open event that welcomes visitors into artists’ studios and homes, and Linda will be exhibiting her works in the Belford studio of fellow Northumberland artist Sarah Riseborough, whose dramatic paintings of the Northumberland coast make the perfect complement to Linda’s landscapes.
Many of the artists who participate in the Art Tour will have works on sale, and will be serving mulled wine and creating a festive atmosphere to welcome visitors: ‘It will be a haven for discerning Christmas shoppers who want to seek out unique and unusual gifts far away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre’, says Linda.
• Linda’s paintings will be on display in Sarah Riseborough’s studio at 21 The Gables, Belford, Northumberland between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm on 28, 29 and 30 November and 6 and 7 December.
