Financial Support
For training places which are funded by the NHS, this includes a salary, tuition fees and the University registration fee. These trainees should be paid on the Band 4 national Agenda for Change NHS scale (see http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details). This salary scale should rise to Band 5 at a point following successful completion of the course (terms and conditions are determined by the employing Trusts). Self funded students will need to pay tuition fees, the university registration fees and any other costs associated with their training (e.g., travel to and from their placement). Fees for this course for 2012 entry will be advertised in the autumn, but are likely to be in the region of £5000 for the complete programme (home students only).
