To apply for a scholarship to work on one of these projects, you will need to approach the appropriate supervisor as soon as possible to discuss the project. These schemes encourage you to develop your own ideas for a project in conjunction with a potential supervisor. With your supervisor's help, you will then need to fill in the forms and submit your application for the deadline (depending what scheme you apply for).
These applications will be judged by these organisations both on the scientific merit of the project, as well as the academic merit of the student.
