A committee of Senate, University Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Committee (UTLSEC) provides strategic direction for the University's teaching and learning activities, acting as a proactive and strategic body for teaching, learning and curricular matters including quality enhancement and the sharing of good practice. UTLSEC has the prime responsibility for developing, monitoring and evaluating the University's Learning, Teaching and Student Experience Strategy, in the context of other key University Strategies.
Senate has also delegated to UTLSEC responsibility for the quality assurance policies and procedures necessary to maintain and enhance the academic standards and teaching quality of all programmes of study.
