The main purpose of Lee's role is to facilitate, develop and support University research and enterprise activities through effective contract management, negotiation and drafting as well as support faculty strategies to maximise the benefits from engaging in research, consultancy, spin-out and learning and teaching activity whilst minimising the risk to the University.
Lee has worked within Research and Enterprise Services at Newcastle University since 2003. His previous roles at the University include Clerical Assistant, RAE Assistant, Senior Grants Administrator and Assistant Grants and Contracts Manager.
Prior to 2003 Lee worked for Zurich Financial Services and Northumbria Police.
