Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs)

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) are one of the longest standing knowledge transfer schemes. KTP's facilitate the transfer of knowledge and expertise out of the University and into the Company partner in order to undertake a project which is strategic to the Company.

The project involves a graduate known as a KTP Associate. The Associate is employed by the University but is based at the Company.

Funded by Innovate UK (Formerly known as the Technology Strategy Board) and UK Reseach Councils, projects can range from 6 - 36 months in duration (depending upon the requirements of the project).
