The Policy and Information Team supports Professor Nick Wright who is the PVC (Research & Innovation) and the Faculty Research Deans to ensure the highest quality research is carried out. There is a fortnightly meeting of the University Research Committee to discuss all matters pertaining to and impacting on research within the University, in particular cross-cutting Faculty issues and aims to ensure integration of research through the Faculty Research Committees. The team works closely with colleagues responsible for supporting Faculty research strategy and policy and manages a number of internal funding programmes.
Each Faculty has a Faculty Research Committee. These committees are chaired by the relevant Research Dean and comprise members of various Schools, Centres and Institutes of the Faculty. For more information on these committees, please contact the following:
