Degree Shows

Our BA and MFA degrees culminate in a degree show, held in June and August respectively. Both the undergraduate and postgraduate exhibitions are highly regarded and are two of the most popular events in Newcastle's exhibitions calendar.

The ambitious goal of all our students is to present themselves as professional artists and to test their ideas in the public arena. The degree show is the culmination of the development and realisation of work in the final year of the degree and forms the major element of the assessment process for the BA or MFA degree.

Our students take responsibility for the design and production of the publicity material for the degree shows. You'll produce catalogues, posters, invitations, press releases and web pages.
