Introduction

Catrin Huber is an artist who works with painting, wall painting, drawing, collage, installation and more recently sound. Her practice investigates representations of architectural, fictional and imagined space, and also site-specificity of painting / drawing.
Further, she explores tensions between photographic image and materiality.

Background

Studied at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe and the Royal College of Art, London. She has exhibitied her work nationally and internationally (e.g. Australia, Tasmania, Germany).

How can artists redefine the potential and roles of architectural drawings? Research of constituents of painting. Research of Roman wall painting.

Site-specific painting / drawing. Research into relationship between drawing, architecture and sound.
