Lalya Gaye is a HCI/interaction design researcher and digital media artist with an engineering background. Her cross-disciplinary work includes building interactive prototypes, public space installations, holding community workshops, as well as making low-tech sound-art experiments and conducting user studies. Through this, she explores the expressive, empowering and socially inclusive potentials of digital technologies when poetically intergrated into everyday life settings, behaviours, environments and artefacts.
