My role within the ‘Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) Enterprise’ is to lead, manage and motivate a professional and dynamic team of Business Development Managers, Project and Proposal Support Officers and Clerical staff to provide an effective service to the academic community of Newcastle University in all areas of enterprise activity.

Based within ‘Research and Enterprise Services’, the ‘SAgE Enterprise Team’ is responsible for encouraging greater industrial engagement, primarily through knowledge exchange, commercial collaborations, contract research and consultancy. In addition, the team is responsible for managing and exploiting the SAgE Faculty’s intellectual Property (IP) assets for the benefit of society, the UK economy and the University.
