Trevor Bedford is a Chartered Engineer and holds a BSc in Electrical & Electronic engineering and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering both from Newcastle University. He has over 20 years business experience including Engineering Director & IT and Technical & IT Director positions in the engineering and construction industry, serving the power, nuclear, metals and water industries and CEO in the housing sector. He has in that time also had leading roles in commercial projects, strategic organisational change and resource development projects.

At Newcastle University his remit is for the development and support of a portfolio of enterprise related project activity (including project management, knowledge transfer, consultancy, CPD, patents, licensing, commercial services and Research and Development)
