There are many different ways that our students meet and interact with industry directly. And industrial partners influence and steer our degree programmes.
Working with industry
All of our undergraduate degree courses allow students to complete a Year in Industry.
Shorter placement schemes allow students to gain work experience in holidays or even as part of study modules.
Most degree courses have Industrial Advisory Boards who review and contribute to teaching.
Subject-specific careers fairs complement the award-winning University Careers Service.
Industrially-led dissertations allow students to work with practitioners and academic staff.
