I feel that after the MSc I was an older, wiser person and due to the later part of my postgraduate studies being on industrial placement, I was able to take a period of proper work experience into the job market after graduation.

I chose to do a PhD at Newcastle University as I would like to continue into post-doctoral research. It will also better my employment opportunities and expand my area of expertise.

I chose to pursue my interest in inherited skin cancer at Newcastle because of the collective expertise available in dermatological sciences, medical genetics and cancer research
