Enterprise Project

The MSc Project from 2012-13 is valued at 60 credits, and estimated to involve 600 hours study time throughout the duration of the programme. The Diploma Project is worth 30 credits, and should involve300 hours study time. Guidance on the project will be given at the induction sessions.

Newcastle has Science City status, and boasts the Research Institute IRES http://www.ncl.ac.uk/environment, and the Joseph Swan Centre for Energy Research: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/energy/. There is the opportunity for Reflex students to engage in research here on their MSc project, or to choose an industrial project of their own.

It is important that the project is well planned to avoid wasting time, errors or delays. Guidelines are available to students to assist in planning the Project. The Project Handbook is available here.
