Do you want the chance to get ahead with your studies…?
Visit our campus in April and pick-up study skills you need to support your current studies at Sixth Form or College.
Get Ahead is our new event for Year 12 and First year college students that has been developed with local school teachers/students and is designed to provide a deeper insight into subject specific study skills such as lab skills, fieldwork experience, referencing and time management.
Study skills such as these will help you with your current A-Level or equivalent studies and by attending this event you will also get a taste of what it’s like to study different degree subjects and help you with the transition to university level study in the future.
Get Ahead will run from 10.00 to 16.30 on:
- Wednesday 5 April: Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
- Thursday 6 April: Medical Sciences
- Friday 7 April: Science Agriculture and Engineering
