Information for Schools and Colleges

Academic Subjects

During the Academic Summer School, you are assigned to the academic subject strand that is most related to your chosen (CF) degree choice. As there are over 200 degrees at Newcastle University, each subject strand may include people from a number of related degree programmes.

You will be given all the information you need about your subject strand during the Information Events. These will give you an idea of what to expect in terms of teaching, personal study and assessment.
