Our committed outreach team cover the diverse range of subject areas across the university ensuring that we provide your students with a wide range of opportunities and knowledge about what higher education can offer them.
Within the Team we have specialists who deliver activities in specific subject areas such as:
- Supporting and inspiring progression to higher education
- Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
- Medical Sciences
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM)
Every year we also recruit and train a full time team of recent graduates who deliver the majority of our school and college activities. These Graduate Ambassadors develop workshops and presentations based on their own experience at University, and their specialist subject knowledge. To view the range of activities that they offer you can either search our Teachers' Toolkit, or view the online version of our Activities Brochure.
We believe that our current students are the best advocates for higher education, and we employ and train over 200 Student Ambassadors every year to help us inspire students who visit us on campus or benefit from one of our in-school activities.
We also have a team of enthusiastic and engaging science communicators who make up our Street Science Team. Our Street Scientists deliver a series of STEM related interactive activities for schools and colleges, and also attend festivals and events around the UK to promote science to the public. You can find our Street Science themed activities by searching our Teachers' Toolkit database.
