Newcastle University holds Visit Days in the Summer and Autumn each year. There's a variety of activities to help you find out about:
You are welcome to come and see what Newcastle has to offer by joining one of our Campus Tours which take place throughout the year.
Campus Tours are led by our students who can answer any questions you may have about the campus and the city.
The tours run fortnightly from the end of May until mid November.
Accommodation tours run from King's Gate every Wednesday between November and May and last approximately 1hr 15 minutes.
They consist of a walking tour of University-owned accommodation and are led by current students so you can find out what it's like in two of our sites: Castle Leazes (catered) and Richardson Road (self catered) and you can also look around our sports centre.
If you can't make it in person then take a virtual tour of the University.
Newcastle University Talks and Tours are tailor-made events that schools and colleges can request. They can choose how long the visit to the University campus lasts, and which topic(s) they would like us to cover. We can cater for all age groups and numbers of students. NUTTS visits typically include time for a Student Ambassador led campus tour.
If you would like to arrange a Newcastle University Talks and Tours visit please contact us.
The Higher Education Advisers and Teachers Annual Conference is a joint event run by Newcastle and Northumbria Universities that aims to inform delegates about topical issues relating to progression to higher education.
We regularly have representatives at higher education fairs held throughout the UK.
If you are from one of our PARTNERS schools or colleges or one of our Graduate Ambassador schools or colleges we have reserved some funds to support the travel costs associated with bringing your students to events on campus.
We have allocated a notional amount per school/college, depending on the distance of the school/college from campus. These funds can be used at the discretion of the school/college towards costs incurred by their students visiting Newcastle University campus.
In order to apply for your allocated funding please complete the following application form, or to discuss this further please contact us on 0191 222 6094.
If you have any enquiries about our work with schools and colleges or have a request for copies of our printed materials (prospectus, brochures) please contact us.
