Working with Schools and Colleges

We offer an extensive range of opportunities for you and your students to engage with the University:

• PARTNERS - Progression and Access Routes to Newcastle University - to raise aspirations and encourage progression to Newcastle University
• Graduate Ambassadors - four recent graduates provide talks and workshops to schools/colleges in the North West, Yorkshire and Humberside
• Student Tutors - work with teachers, support pupils in their studies, talk to pupils about university, and help to raise aspirations
• Student Associates Scheme - offers our students focused training and placements in local schools

Newcastle University is also the lead institution for Realising Opportunities, a programme involving 12 universities, working together to develop a national compact arrangement to encourage and support 'most able, least likely students' to apply to research intensive universities.
