Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)-NU Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP) Scholarship - (EDB-NU IPP) Scholarship

The EDB-NU IPP is a collaboration between Newcastle University and the EDB to build up a pool of postgraduate manpower with critical R&D skills for roles in industry through providing postgraduate training in a corporate R&D environment. 

Scholarships are available in the following disciplines:

  • Food & Human Nutrition
  • Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials
  • Marine Engineering
  • Naval Architecture
  • Offshore Engineering
  • Mechanical and System Design
  • Electrical and Power Engineering

Award Terms:

  • Tenable for up to 4-years (full-time)
  • Full tuition fee sponsorship amounting to about S$100,000
  • Research & development related expenses up to $25,000 per year for 4 years
  • Awardee’s salary of up to $S3,300 per month including employer’s CPF contributions (up to 48 months)

Eligibility :

  • Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Relevant bachelor’s/master’s degree
  • Meets University’s admission and academic requirements
  • Employee/new recruit of participating company
