Computing Facilities
You will get a Newcastle University e-mail address and login details allowing remote access to the University’s computing facilities.
Library
As well as having access to the facilities at your host polytechnic library, you will have access to the electronic databases and journals of Newcastle University’s Library. Careers Service
As a graduate you will be in very high demand and we are committed to helping you secure excellent jobs. SIT is setting up a Careers Service and it will be available shortly. If you are looking for employment in the UK you can also access the international students section of Newcastle University’s Careers Service website.
Student Counselling Services
Managing your academic commitments and your personal life can be challenging. Our offices at both polytechnics should be your first port of call but, if you need a helping hand, or just want to talk, the student counsellors are always ready to offer a listening ear:
- Ngee Ann Polytechnic - Student Services Office at Block 4
- Nanyang Polytechnic - Student Affairs Office at Block E
SIT is in the process of establishing its own dedicated student counselling service for SIT students.
