Overseas Immersion Programme
The Newcastle Experience
Our Singapore students can visit Newcastle University’s campus in the UK for a period of overseas immersion during July and August, between Year 1 and Year 2.
There is an intensive study programme but plenty of free time to explore Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
The tuition fee for this period is included in the overall tuition fee, so students will need to budget extra for travel and accommodation costs. You can find out more about Newcastle University by looking at our Video Wall.
Accommodation is based on campus, just a short stroll from the city centre.
Insurance and Visas
Students should arrange their own insurance as appropriate for travelling to the UK and spending time in Newcastle. The host School at Newcastle will be able to supply an official letter to assist with an application for a Student Visitor Visa, which you are advised to obtain.
