Our Anatomy and Clinical Skills facility is a modernised, fully equipped clinical skills, surgical skills and gross anatomy resource with a range of mannequins, models and simulators.

Facilities and resources include:

  • wet labs and dissecting room
  • clinical skills centre set up with hospital beds
  • three SimMan 3G simulators
  • Scotia Medical Observation and Training (SMOT) system
  • portable ultrasound equipment
  • internet access
  • audio visual equipment
  • extensive collection of prosected material, potted specimens, articulated and disarticulated bones and anatomical models
  • continuing professional development (CPD) laboratory for postgraduate surgical and clinical skills courses
