photograph Anglo-Chinese Society off to a good start

Pub quiz at the Hancock attracts 70 students

The first social of the year for the Anglo-Chinese Society was an English cultural experience in the form of a pub quiz at the Hancock. It was a very succesful night with almost 70 people turning up to take part. There were prizes for the winners and also for the losers. The winners got cake, jelly and tee-shirts (which were kindly donated by the Hancock). The losing team received a bag of Chinese shredded turnip.
