Abstract: Kameni spavač (Stone Sleeper), originally published 1969-1973, is widely acknowledged to be the leading work of poetry from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In establishing a non-ethnicised B-H identity within the country's medieval heretic faith, it is emblematic for modern B-H identity.

Notes: Bilingual Edition, with Afterword and Notes by Francis R. Jones. Won two of Bosnia and Herzegovina's leading literary prizes (1999 Sarajevo 6 April Prize, 2000 Association of Bosnian & Herzegovinan Booksellers' Award), including for Best Translation.
