Research Interests
My main research interests are in the areas of language acquisition: (first, bilingual and second) especially of French. I am particularly interested in lexical development.
Current Work
I am currently a Research Associate on an ESRC-funded project (2009-2011): Learning French from ages 5, 7 and 11: An investigation into starting ages, rates and routes of learning amongst early foreign language learners.

Background
I was born in France and graduated from the Université du Maine (Le Mans, France) in 1999. After an MA in Applied Linguistics and Bilingualism I obtained a PhD in Bilingual First Language Acquisition in 2004 from Newcastle University.
