Background

Introduction

Ms Uribe de Kellett has been teaching Spanish since 1988. Her special interests focus in Bilingualism, Translation and Indigenous Languages. She has worked both in Newcastle and Northumbria Universities teaching a range of courses from Translation, Liaison Interpreting, Advanced Essay Writing, Oral and Aural skills, General Language and Grammar, from ab initio to advanced degree level. She also teaches in the MA in Professional Translating for European Languages. Her teaching has also included courses on the Architecture of Spain (Nation Studies), Bilingualism on an MA in Hispanic Studies, Applied Translation (Institute of Linguists) as well as University wide courses of Spanish.
