Twentieth-century Literature, particularly Marguerite Duras and the Nouveau Roman; Manuscript studies; Francophone Literature, with a particular interest in Lebanese Francophone Literature
I am currently working on a project looking at Representations of the Civil War in Francophone Lebanese writings.
Future research will investigate the question of transnational models of identity in relation to Lebanese writings, and the impact of diaspora experiences upon literary practices.
