Intra Mural 5's Football
The IM 5's football league runs during Terms 1 and 2.
In total 40 teams participate in the league which is split into five divisions of eight. Teams can register for the Thursday 4pm – 5pm or 5pm – 6pm, Friday 5pm – 6pm or 6pm – 7pm or Sunday 5pm – 7pm.
All fixtures are played indoor at the University Sports Centre and are assigned fully qualified referees.
Fixtures are 25 minutes one way and teams play each other once in a league format. After the league fixtures the top 3 teams from each division and the best 4th place team qualify for the play-offs.
Once the play-offs commence, it is knock-out format all the way to the final - Last 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, Final
At the end of each Term the winning team are presented with a crystal trophy and winners medals as well as establishing their place in Intra Mural history.
There are two separate registration periods for the league – September/October and December/January.
