Intra Mural Netball
The IM Netball league runs on a Saturday morning from 10am – 12pm and a Tuesday afternoon from 4pm – 6pm during Terms 1 & 2. Sixteen teams participate in both leagues which are split into two divisions of eight. On a Saturday teams can register for the 10am – 11am or 11am – 12pm league and on a Tuesday teams can register for the 4pm - 5pm or 5pm - 6pm league. League fixtures will take place in the time slot you register for. All fixtures are played indoor at the University Sports Centre.
Fixtures are 25 minutes one way and teams play each other twice in a league format. After the league fixtures the top four teams from both divisions qualify for the knock-outs.
All matches have qualified umpires from the University Netball club.
At the end of each Term the winning team are presented with a crystal trophy and winners medals as well as establishing their place in Intra Mural history.
Registration for the leagues takes place from March / April onwards.
