Cochrane Park
This is the principal competitive venue for association football, rugby and cricket. The venue houses:
- county standard football pitches (3)
- county standard rugby pitches (3)
- cricket square
- lacrosse pitch
- tennis courts (5)
The site also offers a pavilion with team changing facilities, function suite and bar facilities.

Getting there
Cochrane Park is situated two miles east of the University, just off the main Coast Road (A1058) and next to the residential facilities at Henderson Hall.

2012 Olympic training Venue
Newcastle University has been named as an official Games-Time Training Venue for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Cochrane Park Sports Ground will be a dedicated football training venue for the Games in July 2012. read more.....
