Exchange Students 2013/14 (effective from September 2013)

This is open to Newcastle University exchange and study abroad students as approved by the International Office.

Semester 1: 24 September 2013 - 26 January 2014

Semester 2: 27 January 2014 - 15 June 2014.

Application forms for this category of membership are ONLY available from the International Office, Level 2, King's Gate for AUTHORISATION BY THE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE. The authorised form should be available for collection the next working day.

Please present the AUTHORISED FORM together with the APPROPRIATE PAYMENT (if you are choosing to upgrade your category of membership) and your UNIVERSITY SMART Card to the University Sports Centre reception.

In order to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment anyone taking out Gold membership will be required to complete an induction course before you can use the Health & Fitness facilities. The initial induction is FREE and can either be done in person at the Sports Centre with one of our qualified instructors or you can access the e-induction online prior to visiting the gym. All FREE inductions can be booked at the Sports Centre or by telephone (£6.00 charge applicable if no prior notice of cancellation given).

Applications can only be processed in person by calling into the Sports Centre. Completed application forms must be stamped and signed by the International Office.

This Category of membership is only available to students on the following programmes:

• Socrates Erasmus (semester only course)
• Non - EU exchange (semester only course)
• Study abroad programme (semester only course)
