Staff Membership 2011/12 (effective from 1 August 2011)
University staff may Join online or at the Sports Centre reception.
Full or part-time staff on the University payroll are offered rolling memberships of the Sports Centre. Rolling memberships enable staff members to gain a full 12 months membership of the Centre from their date of application. Your University SMART Card is required for identification.

In order to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment anyone taking out Gold membership must complete an induction before using the Fitness Suite. The e-induction is available online. Alternatively an induction can be booked in the Fitness Suite with one of our fully qualified staff members. The induction is FREE, however if you fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation or fail to turn up, the rebooking charge is £6.00. You can book an induction at the Sports Centre or by telephone.
Payment of memberships can be made by cash, cheque, debit or credit card or members of staff can elect to have their membership deducted at source from their salary in one lump sum or over two consecutive months.
Those purchasing a Gold membership will be able to make payment from their salary over a 12 month period. There will be a minimum subscription period of 12 months with this option.
