If you’ve been inspired by the success of British athletes this summer and would like to take the first steps to improving your fitness, try Metabolic Conditioning, the latest addition to the Sport Centre’s exercise class programme for Term One.
Metabolic conditioning is a fusion of anaerobic STRENGTH and aerobic CARDIO exercise performed under a set work period (45-60 secs) and rest period (10-20 secs) in a circuit. This causes not only a direct calorie burn during the workout but also a large post-workout after burn for up to 48 hours after your class. Thus increasing your metabolism and revving up your ability to burn fat.
The Sports Centre’s Exercise Class programme will kick off W/C Saturday 6 October.
From Spinning to Pilates, Body Combat to Yoga and Aerobics to Zumba, members have a great variety of exciting and challenging classes to add to their weekly Exercise routine and step beyond the sometimes mundane routine of a gym workout.
All classes are Free of Charge for Gold Members and only £2 per class for Silver Members
