Olwyn scoops National Titles
Olwyn Fitzgerald, a member of Newcastle Fencing Club who trains at Newcastle University with Head Coach, Ian Aberdeen, won two National Titles at the 2011 British Fencing Championships held at the EIS, Sheffield on Saturday 10 December 2011.
Olwyn, who suffers from major circulation problems, was crowned National wheelchair champion in both foil and epee.
This is a fantastic result for Olwyn who hopes to compete at the 2012 Paralympics in London in September 2012.
