TASS
The University is an approved sports specific TASS Centre.
The Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme, or TASS as it is better known, is a Government funded programme that represents a unique partnership between sport and higher and further education. This national scheme provides funds for talented young athletes who wish to pursue a formal academic programme but maintain their commitment to performance sport.
A TASS award is made on an annual basis and individuals are nominated by their National Governing Body.
