Sunny Day for Street League
There was a carnival atmosphere in Durham on Tuesday 27th April, as Maiden Castle Sports Centre played host to a fantastic SUNEE Street League regional matchday.

A fun day for the kids!
Relay races, triple jump and hurdles were just some of the activities on offer during a jam-packed day of indoor athletics at the university sports centre on Monday 12th April hosted by Sports Universities North East England.

Great Day for Street League
On Thursday 4th March, the Newcastle sport development team successfully organised a Regional SUNEE Street League regional multi-sport event at Coach Lane.

Volunteer of the Month
Marie Bolster, a second year Media, Communications and Cultural Studies student, is the Volunteer of the Month for February. She has worked with the Prince’s Trust, British Blind Sports, the Virtual Sports Competition, and this year’s Sport Relief fundraising efforts.
