Linda Robinson
Organisational Development Lead

Linda has over 30 years of experience in learning and development, principally in IT and business skills.   She joined Newcastle University’s Staff Development Unit in 1992 and has since had significant experience of working as internal consultant and workshop facilitator during large and small scale change within the organisation.  

Linda’s role and contribution has grown significantly over recent years, her current portfolio includes: managing the University’s IT training service; leading on a number of University development programmes for support staff; management of a Learning Resource Centre; technicians' development; customer service training and co-ordinating the training provision for staff working overseas.  

Linda is a graduate with a degree in Education and a member of the British Psychological Society as well as the Learning and Performance Institute.  She possesses the British Psychological Society’s Level A & B and is accredited to use a range of psychometric tools.  Linda's previous experience in training and development was with Rolls Royce and ITEC Ltd.  

As an internal coach within Newcastle University Linda's particular areas of interest are to assist staff in enhancing their skills and self awareness.  She is a good listener with a calm easy-going style and a fundamental belief in building respected working partnerships with colleagues and clients to achieve goals.
