The University has identified effective leadership at the most senior level as vital in securing future success.Hand and globe

Our objective, is to facilitate the identification and development of a pool of capable leaders that is empowered with the practical and emotional skills required to perform at the highest level.

To help meet this objective OD has specific programmes for the development of both newly appointed and experienced senior leaders in formal leadership roles e.g. deans, heads of academic units/service units, directors of research institutes, pro-vice-chancellors etc.

This part of OD's website gives those senior managers in formal leadership roles (as described above and operating at level H and above) information on the dedicated development opportunities that are available to them.
