Aimed At: This workshop is aimed at those staff who want to improve their time management skills.

Workshop Overview

Juggling conflicting priorities is becoming more and more of a ‘must have’ skill. This workshop looks at how you can do this effectively by using strategies to give balance to your life. It is designed to give you the tools, techniques and motivation to take greater control and responsibility for how you use your time.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Clarify the purpose of their function in the University, and the multiple roles they need to fulfil
  • Develop a strategy to make continuing progress in all aspects of their role in a balanced way
  • Manage conflicting demands and priorities
  • Establish systems to ensure that regular and routine tasks do not swamp important work
