Workshop Overview
This workshop is suitable for new users to Microsoft PowerPoint.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Design a Presentation
- Work with existing presentations
- Create a new presentation
- Use a variety of PowerPoint views
- Use a variety of slide layouts
- Apply a PowerPoint Theme
- Print slides
- Dividing PowerPoint into sections (New to 2010)

- What is PowerPoint?
- Principles of Presentation Design
- Working with existing presentations
- Working in Normal View
- Working with slides in Outline View
- Using the Slide Sorter View
- Adding Notes to a slide
- Applying Design Themes
- Working with placeholders, lists, text boxes and formatting
- Creating a simple PowerPoint Presentation
- Printing from PowerPoint
