Access 2013 Module 4 - Generate Reports and Exchange Data

Aimed At: Staff who are required to extract data from an Access database in order to output in report format.

Workshop Overview

This module uses the database introduced in Module 1. Much of the work covered assumes attendance on previous modules.

  • Creating single-column & tabular reports
  • Work with Preview, Layout & Design views
  • Modifying a report’s layout
  • Sorting & grouping in reports
  • Working with report controls & properties
  • Creating reports with sub-reports
  • Adding calculated controls to a report
  • Printing mailing labels
  • Using Access mail merge wizard
  • Exporting data to Word & Excel
  • Import data from Excel
