Moving Mountains - Influencing and Negotiating Strategies and Skills

Aimed At: This workshop is aimed at those who would benefit from improving their influencing and negotiating skills and to learn new strategies to improve communication.

Workshop Overview

This workshop will assist participants to enhance their ability to communicate professionally without undermining their personal integrity. In order to influence the thinking and behaviour of others you need to communicate confidently, build up a relationship and remain assertive, even when pressurised.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Describe strategies to gain win/win agreements to which all parties are committed
  • Understand why people resist change and what to do about it
  • Describe a range of approaches to influencing others
  • Describe a variety of tools and models to understand and solve interpersonal difficulties
