Publisher 2010 - Introduction

Aimed At: All university staff who use this software and would benefit from attending a taught workshop.

Workshop Overview

The workshop covers the basics of publishing a leaflet or poster for publication, using features such as Clip Art, WordArt and graphics.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

• Create a banner of varying lengths that include borders and Clip Art items of their choice
• Use the Wizards to pubish a full set of stationery publications (i.e. a label for an envelope, a poster, a postcard, a business card, a newsletter etc)
• Use Microsoft Office On-line to achieve a better Clip Art and graphics for your publications
• Create newsletters where pages flow seamlessly from one page to another like that of a leading glossy magazine
