Word 2010 Module 3 - Styles, Templates and Forms

Aimed At: Staff who have basic Word skills, are competent using Windows to open and close files and are comfortable using the mouse.

Workshop Overview

This workshop has been specially designed for staff who want to expand their knowledge by learning how to use Word Styles and create templates and forms.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Introduction to Themes and Style Sets
  • Customised styles
  • Create and modify styles
  • Save and edit a template
  • Develop forms for Word users
Outline Programme

The workshop programme is as follows:

  • Themes and style sets
  • Creating a customised style
  • Modifying and copying styles
  • Applying and managing styles
  • Creating a Table of Contents
  • Using Outlining to edit a document
  • Creating a template
  • Editing a template
  • Designing a form
  • Manipulating Form controls
  • Protecting a document
