PI Development Programme

Success in Research banner

Are you new to running a research project?

Could you suddenly be faced with managing other researchers?

Do you have the skills and support you need to positively lead and manage a team and project?

The PI Development Programme is for academics who are new to the role of Principal Investigator and for researchers who expect to have a Principal Investigator role in the near future.

You will find this programme helpful if you:

  • Are excited (and apprehensive) about your new role and responsibilities.
  • Want to develop your research management and leadership skills.
  • Want to help your staff and colleagues develop their potential.
  • Are keen to develop your awareness of the 'big picture' and position yourself and your research strategically.
