Introducing The Chaplains

The chaplains are from major world faiths and different Christian denominations. Some are full-time and some are part-time. They are all very willing to be contacted, to try to help out in any way they can.

The Christians work as a Local Ecumenical Partnership, supported by the Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Salvation Army and United Reformed Churches. There is a full-time chaplain (Anglican) who acts as team leader and coordinates the work of the other chaplains.

Honorary Chaplains

These are current members of University staff who are committed members of local faith communities and wish to support the work of the Chaplaincy.

Faith Contact

We are in the process of appointing Faith contacts, representing some of the faith communities not represented on our chaplaincy team. This list is being added to all the time – for further details please contact the coordinating chaplain ( )
